Holly Abbott is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Intentional Smiles in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she has served patients with care and intention for the past nine years. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry’s Oklahoma City site (Class of 2013), Holly has been in the dental field for 12 years.

Her involvement with the Oklahoma Dental Hygienists’ Association began during her student years, when she saw firsthand the value of membership in advancing education, leadership, collaboration, and professional integrity. She continues to encourage others to view membership as an investment in their future and a way to be part of something larger—a community passionate about the growth and protection of the dental hygiene profession.

Outside the operatory, Holly enjoys reading, learning, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Cole, and their two children, Lilly and Kai. Their family dog, Lila, is always part of the adventure. A former SCUBA diving instructor, Holly still loves exploring the underwater world whenever possible. Her favorite quote by Jane Goodall guides her both personally and professionally: “You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
