Message From The President
It is a true honor to be president of the Oklahoma Dental Hygienists’ Association. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve such a passionate, dedicated group of professionals, and I’m excited for all we can accomplish together in the coming year. I am filled with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead.
Our profession is strong—but it becomes even stronger when we lift each other up. So let this be a season of encouragement. Let’s celebrate our hard work, support each other through challenges, and recognize the impact we make every single day.
This year, I want us to focus on empowerment—through education, advocacy, and leadership. When we invest in ourselves and one another, we strengthen not only our individual careers but the entire dental hygiene profession in Oklahoma.
We must also remain united in purpose. No matter where we work—private practice, public health, education, or beyond—we share a common mission: to improve oral and overall health in our communities, advocating for our profession and the patients we serve. That unity is our strength.
And finally—membership. OKDHA is more than a professional organization. It’s our voice, our network, and our foundation for growth. If you’re already a member, thank you for your commitment. If you’re not yet a member, I encourage you to join us. Your voice matters, and we are stronger with you in this organization.
Together, let’s move forward—encouraged, empowered, and be united in purpose.
Thank you.
